This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage and tags) used on dgodigital.com, what each one does, and how to change your choices. It works with our Privacy Policy.
1. Your choices in short
- When you first visit, a banner asks whether you allow analytics and advertising. Reject all, Manage and Accept all carry equal weight, and nothing optional is switched on before you choose. Manage lets you allow one and not the other.
- You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Turning analytics off stops those tools from loading, deletes the Google Analytics and Clarity cookies and stored keys on our domain, and removes the record of how you arrived.
- Turning advertising off stops the ad tools from loading and deletes the advertising cookies and stored keys on our domain: Google's
_gcl_cookies, Meta's_fbpand_fbc, LinkedIn'sli_cookies such asli_fat_id, Reddit's_rdt_cookies andreddit_uuid, the keys the Zaraz Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Reddit tools keep, and the ad click ID we held for your visit. - Cookies a provider sets on its own domain (such as Clarity's on clarity.ms, or an ad platform's on its own site) can only be removed in your browser settings.
- If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC), we apply it as an opt-out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising: advertising stays off in that browser and cannot be switched on there, and the banner shows that it was applied.
- We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if the cookie wording changes or we add a new kind of tool.
2. Categories
| Criteria | What it is for | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Running the site securely: remembering your cookie choice and theme, blocking spam on forms, protecting against bots | Always on (these do not need consent) |
| Analytics | Understanding how the site is used so we can improve it: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, and remembering how you arrived (landing page, referrer and UTM tags) as you move between pages | Off until you allow it |
| Advertising | Measuring which of our ads bring visitors and showing our ads to people who visited our site: Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta and Reddit, and keeping the ad click ID from the ad link you followed | Off until you allow it |

Advertising tools run only where our ads run. Each ad platform's tool is switched on only once we run ads on that platform; until then it sets nothing, even if you allowed advertising. We do not use a "personalization" category, because no tool on the site personalizes content.
Cloudflare Web Analytics runs for every visitor. It is cookieless, stores nothing on your device and does not identify you; it counts visits and page speed.
Tag delivery. Google Analytics and the ad tools load through Cloudflare Zaraz on our own domain; no ad platform's script runs on our pages. Google Analytics and Meta receive data from Cloudflare's servers. Google Ads, LinkedIn and Reddit receive a small request from your browser to their own domain. Microsoft Clarity loads from our site in your browser and sets its usual cookies. Each tool runs only for the purpose you allowed.
4. Other technologies
- Embedded scheduler: the Cal.com booking calendar loads only when you click to open it. Cal.com may set its own necessary cookies to run the booking.
- WhatsApp links open WhatsApp; nothing loads from WhatsApp on our pages.
- Newsletter emails contain a small tracking image and tracked links, so we can see whether an email was opened or clicked. Service emails (request and sign-up confirmations) are counted anonymously only: our email provider records how many were opened or clicked, never who opened or clicked them.
6. Changes and contact
We update this policy when tools change, and we ask for your choices again when we add a new category or a new kind of tool. Questions: [email protected].
